The end of an era, L returns tonight, happy days and monkey world!

Filled.

Blogging fail. Too long a time has elapsed since I posted. In the last couple of weeks I have done a number of things:

-Been to my favourite festival in the world-the beautiful Glastonbury
-Tied a wish to the Wishing Tree
-Drifted on a cloud of happiness
-Finished reading the Time Traveller's Wife
-Watched Green Mile for the first time (how have I not seen it before??)
-cried for a substantial part of Green Mile
-seen and loved Bon Iver in the flesh with M
-Acquired a nice boy!
-Missed E Club
-Wanted the third bee to return like never before
-Partaken in outrageous amounts of (male) banter
-Missed L so much
-Welded myself to the television to watch Wimbledon
-Been on a double date

and much much more.

Do you remember still the falling stars
that like swift horses through the heavens raced
and suddenly leaped across the hurdles
of our wishes--do you recall? And we
did make so many! For there were countless numbers
of stars: each time we looked above we were
astounded by the swiftness of their daring play,
while in our hearts we felt safe and secure
watching these brilliant bodies disintegrate,
knowing somehow we had survived their fall.
