These Days

Have spent the heatwave mostly accompanied by Pimms, friends and excess picnic food. I stayed at K's for a night, we uncovered some photos that have never seen the light of day (aka the internet) before, I love it when this happens. The first is my favourite.

Did you draw the bright stuff on your skin?

A troubling few days. Despite the overall negativity of the situation I really do take these moments to appreciate my friends. L has flown to France to start her 500 mile walk-I'm so proud of her. I'll think of you every day! Last night I realised how bloody brilliant M is. Its easy enough to say how close you are to someone, but I enjoy the moments in which it is so clear why you are the best of friends. I think at that moment only he could have cheered me into the realms of raucous laughter. I saw why we are such kindred spirits! Although writing this makes me laugh as I know he wouldn't approve, he'd want me to shout 'tonight we dine in hell!' and punch the air or something! But honestly, thank you for making me happier.
