My salad days, when I was green in judgment, cold in blood
Sunny (and not so sunny) Somerset. Crazy O came back from France, the rain upheld its tradition by gatecrashing J's fabulous party, we bought Tescos out of their stock of Pimms, ate pie in record time, and tonight, a lovely phone call from D with some sage advice attached.
"Salad days" is an idiotmatic expression, referring to a youthful time, accompanied by the inexperience, enthusiasm, idealism, innocence, or indiscretion that one associates with a young person-
what a fantastic phrase.
